Went last night, was a decent enough game, my review on players and performance
Vorm - Didn't have much to do, bit shaky on kicks, felt he needs more confidence
Naughton - MAYBE our best player, very solid, gave LuaLua nothing, excellent delivery when getting forward
Fazio - Colunga gave him a headache at times running the channels, no problem in the air, was a pretty easy game for him, showed up by LuaLua who stripped him for pace, booked
Vertonghen - Luckiest footballer alive, how he manages to get away with tackles and decision making is baffling, but he was solid, got forward, not really under pressure at any point, Colunga had him running channels and it gave him a slight problem
Davies - Standard, nothing AMAZING some good delivery's
Lennon - Should have got a goal, Chicksen defended him and Townsend really well, hooked off at half time
Townsend - Dembele gave him a rollocking for shooting instead of passing, pretty much summed up his night, did some good things, kept the ball, decision making was decent, found his level
Stambouli - Just easy for him, very solid, good use of the ball, Ince didn't really press,
Dembele - Best player on the pitch, very good on the ball, drove at Brighton, used the ball well
Kane - Failed to impress at times but has this uncanny nack of being in the right place at the right time, be it for tap in's or passes, can't fault him, best striker at the club right now stats wise
Soldado - Noticed something last night for the first time, he's so lazy, lack of movement and motivation, his workrate is not there, I'm usually one to stand by a player, but he just hasn't impressed against two average teams, going the way of Paulinho for me
Lamela - Did ok
Chadli - The Dolphin was ok
Paulinho - Die
Fans - Shocking till we scored

Untrue, a scorer could stand on one spot all game and still score but they would still need to be assisted

Very unlikely in the Premiership. If you stand still it is unlikley you will get a single shot at goal (which backs the point up even more).

From your previous comment it sounded as it was a definite!
But my comment is true.. I player could stand on the pen spot all game and still score but he would still need to be assisted hence my original commented " with out assists you can not score "

I think you're being a bit picky there, fella.
In the context of the postings, definite and very unlikley are not far apart.
I can honestly say, through all my years of watching and playing football, i have never seen a player stand on the opposition's penalty spot for 90 mins, or for a player to score a goal from standing in one place for the whole game. It would be quite easy to play the offside for starters.
I think thats as close to definite as we're going to get here...
