Players like Sanchez and Welbeck will be burnt to the ground
Need to give Pod a chance but will never happen

Not only Poldi, also Rosicky, Campbell.
This is bad managing.

Would like to see Alexis rested, he's our best player but shouldn't need him against Burnley, who look miles out of their depth in the PL.
Welbeck is looking tired too, but don't think we can afford to rest them both.
Would like to see Podolski wide left, Chamberlain wide right, Cazorla through the middle, with Arteta and Wilshere behind him.

For me Theo should start, there will be no better game to introduce him back, could get a gd 60 mins under his belt. Chambo and co have done very little to convince that they should be starting week in week out imo.
However, I think Wenger will resist the temptation and go with Chambo.

Would be silly to start Theo before he has 2 or 3 twenty minute sub appearances under his belt.
PL football is on another level to U21s in terms of intensity and tempo. Like Wenger says, a lot of it is about getting used to getting kicked again and your body getting it's natural reactions back.
It's hardly like we need our strongest XI for what is on paper our easiest game of the season.
Call that arrogant if you like, but if you want to be champions you have to rotate and adapt to the opposition.

jacks not fit

Alexis and Welbeck are fit players. I know we're not used to it but they can play twice a week no problem. I wouldn't trust Podolski.
Look at Chelseas teams sheet every week.

Chris
The only way to get match fit is by playing games, of course you have to be cautious but i feel with the opo we are playing on sat and the fact we are at home it wouldn't kill to give him 60 odd mins and build confidence. He's fully fit so why not but wel see anyway.

Throw Walcott in from the off? Are you wise? He has no match fitness and has uust returned after a 9/10 month lay off. What an absolute disrespect to Burnley and if they see him on the teamsheet they might well think they have a chance.

Gibbs has a late fitness test so expect
Bellerin Chambers Mert Monreal
