Bloody hell Hazard looked brilliant, did everything but finish. I think he is slowly gearing up to have a fantastic second half of the season.

Drogba looked totally shattered from kick off. This was a good game for Remy, given the way they were attacking us. Unlucky for him.

I'm confident for this weekend. Have a feeling Hazard will rip them apart!

Hazard was great? What game were you watching. He was dog shiiite. Kept trying to dribble past 4 players at one go often beating one then getting tackled. His passing was awful, his movement and defending even worse. Remember when he lost the ball at around the 15 minute mark from where they nearly scored (I think zouma cleared it off the line). Oh and that's not even mentioning his penalty miss.

I am getting a bit doubtful on how beneficial Hazard is to the team he just seems to hold on to the ball too long and slows the tempo down unnecessarily. Many people fail to notice this because eventually he does something productive with the ball... he rarely shoots into the sky or misplaces a pass, but we do lose some great chances because of his dawdling with the ball

Is this a wum?

The two things Hazard needed to do right, he didn't. Missing that one-on-one and the pen. It is a shame, because he more or less looked like the only one wanting to win the game. He played really well to be fair, but he needs to start putting those chances away.

To be fair with the pen, it was about time a keeper stood up instead of committing, fair play. With Hazards technique, it was always going to be that if he misses it looks like the worst pen ever.

No it is not. I'm guessing you disagree?

Last night Hazard was the one player that was making things happen. No he doesn't beat his man every time but he more often than not he does and it usually ends up with a chance. I'd like to see the stats for how many chances last night involved him...wouldn't be surprised if it was all of them!

Perha[s you mis understood me. With Hazard its sometimes like losing a pound but finding a penny. He dilly dallys a through ball untill the striker is offside. Then he beats a player and puts in a cross. I think many people simply see him dribble past someone, see a decent cross and think few players could do that, and while that would be true the simple through ball would have been easier and far more effective.

He is so critical to our counter attacks though, either carrying it far enough up to lay off to Fab or to make the pass/break himself. Without him we would look a lot slower in those positions and our team is geared up to win the ball and break quickly

I am exaggerating a bit. He is a skilful player who definitely adds something different to our game, but I haven't been impressed by him this season.

This is an example of what lgm is talking about. At 0.25 this was posted around on a few footballing accounts as a vine, saying great dribble, but had he just slided Oscar through I would be more impressed. Doing 'everything but finish' is what Torres would do.
