Went to bonfire so abit late, as always how I saw them play not if I rate the players
1 Silvestra 7 not alot to do but did it well
2 Byram 8 excellent, I know some think beriadi is better but showed his class yesterday
3 cooper 8 pure class on the ball and defending, let's hope the he keeps his place
4 Pearce 7 solid all game
5 warnock 8 him and byram was the out ball
6 bianchi 7 kept the ball well, still not for me though
7 cook 8 busy in first half moving the ball quickly
8 Mowatt 8 see cook
9 douraka 8 bullied them first half
10 anti 8 more sparky than last few weeks deserved that goal
11 Adryan 8 1/2 People will rave about his assists but it's his work rate that I like because it shows he isn't big time Charlie
Overall great first half, Blackpool changed tactics and stop our supply to full backs and it stopped us
Something to work on but just the worry we can be abit easy to stop with having no width apart from full back

Agree in the main. Some very good performances.
I'd reduce silvestri, didn't command his area convincingly and never collects long throughs. Couple times the centre halves had to step in to clear when they were waiting for him to claim. Think they'll lose confidence in him.
May also reduce cook and Mowatt slightly. Both excellent prospects with skills but slow and lightweight. Shoved off the ball far too easy at times.
3 points were needed. Not getting too excited over beating the bottom team...

I know the incidents you were on about in regards to Marco, but in my opinion, the one in particular with Pearce, it was a case of better safe than sorry and get rid since it was right in front of goal.

Eddie reckoned Mowatt had one of his least effective games this season. Said he disappeared in his mind.
Maybe a bit harsh. But, Eddie knows a thing or two.
