Three years of this garbage?

Wenger said he would always honour a contract but surely even he can not be oblivious to the fans turning against him. So many fans are disillusioned with everything that is happening right now. If the fans make their voices heard and results are still this poor and we are still facing the same issues as we have done for the past 6/7 years, surely he will take a hint and go before his contract runs out? Surely?

We have spent more money and are in a stronger position financially, we have had new personnel but the fundamental issues stay the same, no matter what.

Never has there been a time where it is clear a change of manager is needed and to be honest, I doubt there ever will be again.

Thankfully time seems to be going fast at the moment which is good because it means Wenger's departure will feel quicker and won't feel like it's taking centuries to dispose of him. But that is probably just me.

Lost for words really. You can believe what you want, but frankly, Wenger is not the man to take us to the level we want to get to. The evidence would show this, not just misplaced faith.

I dont doubt that samir but Wenger is not garbage.Trying to sound clever and pointing out the weak points of Arsenal doesnt make Wenger a horrible manager.Even Real Madrid has weak points that can be exploited and be pointed straight at Ancelotti's door.

most pundits including fans made early calls on southampton and new castle and look how quickly that has changed.

Wenger must be judged at the end of the season, thats the least we can do

P.S We are not inconsistent this year . We are very consistent . Consistently bad. Weak on and off the pitch.

Whatever his good points, we are short of defenders in the squad. The squad is imbalanced. That is just negligent. He must have known all the defenders would not stay fit or be hit with suspensions. Today we have Monreal being outjumped for the winner, a left back.

Wow this gets said every season

The first 9 years only worked because we had better players and other teams were weaker. Now that it is more of a level playing field Wenger's inadequacies are being shown up.
--------------------------------------
so are you saying Wenger had little do do with the success he enjoyed in the first 9 years??

The football is god awful, the team is disappointing but we have hardly prepared well this season and injuries are affecting us.

Yes I agree, Arsene fails to do the obvious things but he has to be judged at the end of the season. At the end of the day besides the obvious flaws in his manegerial career he still has better foresight and long term managing ability than most managers in the game.

Look at Moreal's tactical and defensive ability improve. Gibbs gets better, so does Ox. He knows what pretty football is and he will fix that.

We just need to back him at least until the summer.

I really don't understand how people can still defend wenger. If i started listing all the errors his made in the past few months, i might need a few years.
I mean how can you go into the season with 6 senior defenders, and no real DM?
Its not even like we don't have money to buy.. Lets forget about the tactical nonsense for a second, and just look at transfers..
Can anyone truly come out and say that with our transfer activities defensively, they could not see this happening??
How can you still defend a workman that comes to work with incomplete tools and is surprised when things go wrong. Its like a player coming to play without shin-pads and gets mad when he breaks his shins 3 times a season. Madness.

What about his mistakes over the last 6 seasons?

The 'judge at the end of the season' excuse only applies to new managers (Koeman, Van Gaal) or for a manager with tremendous recent success (Pellegrini).

Wenger's poor transfer activity coupled with our horrendous injury record (never addressed) always provides Wenger with ready-made excuse.

It covers up his tactical inadequacies.

Wenger won't leave until the end of his contract at the very earliest. He is paid very handsomely and the board love him, there is no pressure on him to succeed. Said he should have left in the Summer but all I got was stick, a lot of those people have changed their tune since then.
