I would like to send my condolences to the family of Jim....the inspiration for my pseudonym NJS ( notjimstorrie)...
Jim gave me and my mates hours of entertainment in the games he played for Leeds in the early 60s...he had a shuffling kind of style, not the best of styles but very effective, he scored lots of goals and missed a few as well, but that was Jim, haha!
The crowd loved Jim Storrie as a character...his best assets imo was his never say die attitude, he always tried his best....
RIP Jim.....and thanks!

A little bit before my time watching Leeds, but has always been spoken of very fondly by older die-hards in our village. Definitely a cog in the Revie revolution machine.
RIP Jim.

I was 5/6yrs old or there abouts when I started following Leeds, so about a year after he joined us!..
Don't know to much about him but the name is one that I know off!..
RIP Jim, part of the Leeds family and should be remembered as a big part of the Leeds we know and Love!.

Always sad to hear the loss of one of the Leeds United family.
Before my time I'm afraid, but we all owe a lot to players like Storrie who helped us to our heritage that makes us so proud today.
Best wishes to his friends and family.
