going to Blackburn and we're 15th.

I'm going to Woodbridge unfortunately. I'll be drinking at my mates. I won't be leaving anywhere until after the game though

Just reading through some of the comments I'd agree that success will bring some back to the club. Equally I still believe that prices are too high.
The match day premium charge will also put people off who might have, at the last minute, decided to go.
If I lived more locally I'd go to every game like I used to when I lived in Leeds & Redcar. We have a daughter living in Leeds so try to tie in visits with home games and where I can, I get work-related stuff to tie in with midweek games.
Outside of that it's a 400 mile round trip, typically hotels and the wife & daughters raking up shopping bills!
We expect to either retire abroad or back up North so I'll get a season ticket again if the latter comes to pass.

Ticket prices I guess out off many locals going to ER.
If Sheff Wednesday for example charged our prices they would be lucky to average 17,000
Then of course Leeds have so many fans that travel fair distances to ER and some like me will pick and choose matches.
But for me prices is still the biggest problem.
As for Blackburn they are a small club in a small town and get decent support.
Comparing them to our massive club is totally unfair.

It's the Premier League factor. People don't want to pay the prices we charge for 2nd division football. If we got promoted, I've no doubt we'd be hitting 30,000.
For the supposed 3rd biggest city in England, plus Leeds fans all round Yorkshire, our home support is pretty bad.

Whilst cost is a factor, many people just cant be bothered anymore, because the end product is garbage!
I find it hard sometimes to get up and get to Leeds every other Saturday and i've got a season ticket, so it must be even worse when you don't feel like you have to. Home games are dire, have been for a good few years now.
There have been countless times over the past 2 seasons where out of the few of us who I sit with have a spare card to use, and we cant give them away, even with a free lift there and back.
No one is interested anymore

I'd go every week if I lived locally. I remember under Bremner losing to Barnsley midweek in the pouring rain. I remember Blackpool and Birmingham under Grayson too.
It's in the blood.

guys- Leeds population is about 7x that of Blackburn so you should be getting bigger crowds unless there is something in the Yorkshire water (other than chlorine/flouride/various chemicals - Yorkshire water tastes disgusting by the way )that makes you more loyal to your club.
The pub is called the Fernhurst and is pretty good for atmosphere according to most visiting fans. Enjoy.
