You try winning football matches with 6 key defenders all out at same time. Our injuries have beenan absolute joke. Comical even. With just a typical amount lets's say (average) we'd have 4 or 5 more pts and be comfortable.

Imagine going to Arsenal without Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic & Zouma and then losing Azpilicueta after 30 mins.

Not easy.

The football was dreadful though, the players didn't seem to play for him.

Van Gaal has had a slow start but has had a comical amount of injures to conted with and has had to pick up a team that were left in a right mess by a combination of Moyes n Fergie.

LVG will get it right. But it takes time.

Jose didn't pull up any trees last season really.

Lol u added clowns like Diaby and Hayden but forgot the French no1 RB Dubuchy.

Ozil has creative end product. For all the huffing and puffing and dribbling of the likes of Wilshere and Ox or the fancy touches of Cazorla, none come anywhere near Ozil's creativity. Cazorla has been such a massive disappointment. His game went to pieces after Ozil got injured.

Its insane how much better off we would be if we had just kept/replaced Vermaelen.

United won't finish 8th but I can't see any major improvement in them. In fact they have been terrible most times I have watched them. Even yesterday they were god awful, Moyes' United was more deserving of beating us at the Emirates last year in the 0-0 than LVG's team.

As Arsenal fans, we just need to accept that United could play their Under 12s and put Rooney in goal and he'd probably still tear us apart in a 3-0 win or something. We just aren't going to beat United as long as Wenger is here.

since LVG came in hes never had the luxury of a full team available for selection,people keep saying the most expensive team and that but every single game LVG needs to change cos of injuries but i tell you know not a single United fan would do a straight swap this season with the last ,nuf said
