I noticed that nearly every game is hard thought. I was expecting us to hammer a few teams but that hasn't materialised really yet. I can't remember the last time it was so close from 15th to 4th and most games are decided by 1 goal and the points total is low as there are more draws then usual and shock wins for less fancied opposition.
Anyway its great to be 4th and we now have a better away record then Liverpool on gd.

BTW people like to compare man utd start to moyes last season but in SAF first title winning side even if there were more games we had a bad start although 1 point better after 12 games we dropped a lot under SAF by game 15. The point is we are starting to look like we can put together a run. We really should have beaten west brom so it was karma beating arsenal the way we did. Swansea home to we really should have won but we lost. Burnley away and Sunderland away to pen decisions not given.
Anyway its funny probably our worst performance overall of the season and we win finally away from home. Maybe playing badly is the secret to success as being under the cosh can mean you have clear chances at the other end when presented with them you usually take them like west brom showed against us.
I think if we want to win the title we need to have 35-40 points by game 19 and then go on a crazy run in last 19 games. Realistic target is 3rd or 4th and we are on course for at least 4th and it seems like Liverpool Tottenham Arsenal are gift wrapping a top 4 spot for us as it was our worst start since Ron atkinson got sacked after 10 games since start of 1986-87 season.
Very competitive league this season

Competitive?!
When we walk the league, it's classed as a boring league.
It's only competitive from 2nd place down...

Chelsea will get played off the park but they will get enough blocks to stop Barca with Cahill,Terry and Luis.
BTW DarkPhoenix it is a very competitive league, just look at the money spent by Liverpool and where they are.

Liverpool averaged 58.5 points per season in there previous 4 seasons so that means an average of 1.54 points per game for form from 09-10 to 12-13 season.
In 14-15 season 12 games 14 points is 1.166 pointers per game so if they put together a run of a few wins they will be back to there level

Why does everyone keep saying Chelsea are the best. Is it to make them feel like all they need to turn up to get 3 points when in the champions league most games have been close as well as in the league. Normally the festive period Chelsea drop points so we shall see. I hope by game 19 chelsea have max 46 points.

Even in a game we completely dominate, as long as it is a 1 goal lead anything can happen. Teams without the ability as ours can hang in there and nearly strike at the end. Thats why upsets happen.
