Aaron Lennon

44 - Aaron Lennon has 44 Premier League assists for Spurs, the joint-second most with Teddy Sheringham. Darren Anderton has 67. Service.

Underrated legend, if only we had strikers who could finish his exquisite crosses (like Kane's today) he would probably be top.

Lennon has refused to sign a contract and is hoping for a move in Jan or the summer at the latest.

Lennon always proves people wrong . Not the first time he has been written off.

We didn't look at all threatening until he came on, even against 10.

He was exciting back in the day, but he's become too limited a player when he really ought to have become so much more. He doesn't score or assist enough, his crossing has always been inconsistent, and he's lost that desire or ability to terrorise defenders.

He has just got old thats all which is why his time at Spurs is coming to an end. I will say he did look good when he came on today so he can still manage 40 minutes or so but thats not enough

He isn't even that old though. If anything he should be at his peak at 27. The fact that we feel we've already seen the best of him a few years ago tells you he isn't really the required quality for us, unless as back up I suppose.

Averaging at about 4 assists per season. Not that great for a winger.

That's true. Should be getting double that IMO.

Just to compare that with Fabregas, Fabregas has an average of 9 per season.

He has lost his pace tho and he has definitely lost any appetite for the game

Lennon v Evra was always bad to watch for me.

He's still quite quick, he just doesn't seem to want to use his pace as much now. I miss the Lennon that ran towards defenders and tried to go past them.

This. I miss that Lennon too. Used to get me off my seat when he ran at defenders. Still he provides width and frees up space in the middle. I am a fan but he hasn't progressed as he should have. Shooting is still poor - something that could have been improved.

I have always been a Lennon fan I have always thought that for a long while he was one our only real threats. I dont think he fulfilled his potential there are a lot of areas which he could have improved on but I do think he is past his best now.

Injury has halted him, remember he has that permanent abdomen problem which effects him when twisting sharply etc
