What's the dilly with Usmanov?

Is there anything us fans can do to encourage Kroenke to abdicate his position as major shareholder and make way for Usmanov? He has always been vocal about his concerns regarding the way the club is being run, and has even been critical of his co-investor - and after reading his comments this morning, I'd say he would be a very welcome change at the top.

Getting him in is also the key to deposing Wenger too, in my opinion.

That's not really true. In fact, if anything Usmanov is a Wenger fanboy and would probably hand the old goat more cash to waste.

I disagree. I think he's better and more adept than that - he can clearly see that Wenger is dwindling rapidly in his ability to do the job. I think he'd have him out of the club within six months if he became major shareholder.

Has he stated it somewhere that he is AW's fanboy?

Can't be bothered, but if I was I could find you a few quotes from Usmanov from a few years ago praising Wenger for keeping Arsenal challenging whilst keeping costs down, as was popular opinion at the time.

Then later he praised Wenger for continuing the title charge, as was popular opinion at the time.

Now Usmanov has popped up again when Arsenal are again in a spot of bother, and again with popular opinion about holding Wenger to account.

It's all talk with Usmanov. I wouldn't mind him in the board, but I doubt he'll get rid of Wenger, if required.

Will our current board to sack wenger and hire a top replacement? We don't know if usmanov will either. I'm not bothered who's in charge of the club so long as they have ambition to make us a title winning side, and challenging for CL.

Is our current board willing to do what it takes to make it? I think they are to willing to trust wenger to sort that out. A more ambitious board would have forced a move for a CB and DM. Wenger probably convinced them we'd be fine without them, and they believed him, and so long as we keep getting top 4 I don't think they're bothered. And they're probably pleased we can do that without huge investment each year.

We don't need a rich investor due to FFP and the fact we have enough money. We just need someone with a clear vision to make us into a top team, not just a team that makes a good profit every year.

Usmanov seems to change his opinion keep it favourable towards Arsenal supporters. He doesn't have a vision or idea he'd like to put forward just an opinion to get disgruntled supporters under his wings for his own cause.

Exactly. And evidently it works.

Usmanov can't do anything.

Once Usmanov gained control of the club he would want to be paid a dividend for his shares, thats the only interest he has in Arsenal F C.
He's a billionaire looking to make money,he is not a fan of the club, only here for the chance of a financial killing
Anyone who goes to a game of football with half a dozen minders has to be .

I think you have him confused with Kroenke who has STATED on record he will take dividends. Usmanov is worth in the region of £10BN. Thats more than the Chelsea owner. If you think he is gives a shiite over £10-20m then you need to think again.
