Can't recall a defeat so painful and annoying as one from the weekend in over 3 year now I think. Usually I am over the Arsenal bad results by the following day but this time I just can't seem to comprehend what has happened.
Not even the 8-2 was that bad, least utd were good then
I genuinely think dropping out of the top4 will help this club move forward. It's financially as good as it has ever been, all that is needed is a decent manager to get the team going. The players are Arsenal aren't poor at all, pretty much every player is an international level. The system makes them look all bad. Barca in 06-07 for example had a poor season but did it mean their players were bad? No, they went on to win the treble next season. Yes it's an extreme example, but really the players at the club are good enough to win the title, with a couple of essential additions. It's the manager who is holding them back.
I look at Atletico and their players, not one outstanding player, but hell they won the league and came within a minute of winning the CL.
I really feckin hope the board wakes up to this debacle. The longer Wenger stays on the longer this club is going to fail, which is a sad statement to make considering what he has done, but football has no time for sentimental values.
Last defeat so hurtful?

Can understand why some are frustrated (after Saturday’s game) but was it really that surprising. Did anyone think AW would change his approach solely for this game?

the ONLY thing that will take this club forward is a new manager.
The only reason we should want top four is for the new manager.

None of our losses have hurt me this season. Its just getting boring and repetitive. It's like when you watch a movie you really enjoy you can watch it over and over again but eventually you'll get bored

I admire those of you that confident we have fourth place in the bag - right now, I can't see how that can be.
I'm not seeing any spark in the team, bar Sanchez and a few others in momentary bursts but we have no coherent defence and nobody, again bar Sanchez, that can reliably put the ball in the net.

Didn't hurt because it was so predictable.

I've been far more bothered about games than that one. This season may as well hurry up. We will come 4th/3rd no doubt but theres not going to be much drama. Maybe an exciting exit in the CL L16

You really think that?
I think us and city top 4 obviously, and then southampton if they carry on. And then a battle between everton man utd and yourselves. Not a certainty by any means
