Spurs fan in peace.
I know a lot of you Arsenal fans have now grown tired of Wenger but I honestly believe when he does eventually leave he will leave a massive whole and Arsenal will struggle even more without him. I also think you all have short memory's you have had 16 years continued CL qualification you are the current FA Cup holders. I still fully expect Arsenal to be in the top 4 in May again. It seems most of you are unhappy with your lack of title challenge but what right do Arsenal have to challenge for the league. Chelsea and Man City have been outspending Arsenal for years and while Arsenal in the last couple of seasons have started making marque signings Chelsea and Man City still spend more.
So my question is what do Arsenal fans expect, do you honestly think you should be challenging for the title and CL with the players you have, I don't think any manager could get more out of that team than Wenger does already. If he has made any mistake its his faith in players that are not good enough but that is no reason to want rid especially as you are current cup holders. Anyway my opinion is you will be worse when he leaves not better....time will tell

Fact is and I think we can all agree on that. Wenger made big big mistakes in the last summer. That is unacceptable and it cost us another season. Money is not an excuse for Wenger anymore.

I am by no means happy with the manager and players at the moment but on the whole I agree with you op, probably the only gooner left on here who does.
Players massively let the manager down on Saturday however it's the managers job to fix this weak mentality and he hasn't been able to do it so far.
The fact is however is whilst our current manager may have faults, people find it too easy to forget we lose with him gone. We would literally have to start from scratch, playing style, personnel etc. Our consistency against the smaller sides that has got us top four for almost two decades in a row is something the likes of spurs Liverpool Everton etc would only dream of. Op is right, we have decent spending power now but we still don't really have the right to challenge the likes of city and Chelsea. Yes that's what we all want and aspire towards but you have to understand that whoever achieves it for us would be hailed as the greatest achievement in the premier league for ten years.

Consistency against the 'smaller clubs'? Defeat against Swansea, draws with the likes of Leicester.
Why do we have to start from scratch? We need a few changes, not a massive overhaul.
We have every right to challenge City and Chelsea. Our squad isn't that far off.

I will miss the not caring that we lose games badly under Wenger because that is all I expect from his poor management !
