Even the most ardent AKBs are thinking that relieving the great man of his duties seems to be the best thing for our club. But many believe this should happen at the end of the season. I disagree. Here's a comparison for the end of season:
Pros - Better manager available, possibly, but I think the likes of Klopp and Simeone would be just as likely to leave now if we dangle the cash as in June.
Wenger more likely to lead current side to top four - Really? Track record yes but this squad is playing terribly - Wenger said he couldn't understand why the defenders didn't drop back vs Man U, suggesting they're either not listening to him (lost the dressing room) or he's not telling them to (poor management/coaching). I think a new manager has just as good a chance if not better, see the many clubs where managerial change has a positive effect.
He deserves it - Sentimentality clouding what's best for the club. Sacking Wenger would harm his legacy? No one man is bigger than the club. I'd rather have a harmed legacy than a season of failure.
Cons:
New Manager has more time to see the squad - If we're talking of 14/15 as a write off, why not use the chance to let the new man come in, get used to the squad risk free, and in 15/16, he can have a real go with a squad he's used to, instead of wasting 15/16 getting adjusted to this?
New Manager effect - Refreshing effect of the right coach is just what this club needs, it's all become stale as fack, the stadium would come back into life again with the right name appointed and a bit of momentum is just what this squad, fans, CLUB needs right now to push on, instead of yet another year of stagnation.
New Manager has extra transfer window to make his mark on the squad - I'd much rather give January to a manager who'd actually sign a facking defender at least, if not a CDM too, which most managers worth their salt would definitely do.
Sacking Wenger now vs end of season

End of season. No point in doing it now.
The new manager should have money to spend in the summer and pre-season to get the squad used to his style.

Pretty sure this is the same discussion as your thread yesterday.
All this belief that managers would be easily lured is nonsense. United found that, and we will find that if we go chasing after managers set on staying where they are.
Absolutely no reason why Simeone would drop everything and jump at the chance to manager Arsenal.
Klopp would be pretty much the only manager I have seen bandied about who would look at his situation and see a mid season move as a potential.

If we can get the required replacement I would do it now for sure.
Dude is finished at arsenal

We should wait till the end of the season and try and snap up Carlo if he gets sacked.

No it wouldn't be as simple as dangling money infront of them to make them come now. Managers aren't like players, they normally always like to finish a job, and at least see out the season. It's rare a manager will quit halfway through a season just because of more money. They'll see that the arsenal job will still be up for grabs at the end of the season so can easily tell us to wait til then. It's not like they're managing c'rap clubs and are getting paid shît all. It's very unlikely we'll get a decent replacement mid season. The likley scenario if wenger was sacked now of we'd have bould til the end of the season.

If Real don't win something he will.

Hmm I dunno. He's the perfect yes man for Perez. Plus he did win them La Decima, so that will be worth something.
I don't think they'll go trophyless anyway, so it's unlikely to happen.

There is no way a top manager will be tempted to move during January, no matter how much cash you throw at him.
Having said that, Wenger should leave now. Get in a experienced old timer, like Hiddink, and let him do a temporary job. Anyone is better than Wenger.
