Most "Arsenal" Goal

After defusing my anger from Saturday, I thought about how comical, or "Arsenal" Gibbs's own goal was--absolutely baffling moments that leave you speechless. And these moments seem to always occur against United. So, what is the most "Arsenal" goal you can remember in a United game? For me, it has to be the Diaby own goal in the 2-1 loss; everything seemed fine in that game, and then Diaby heads it into the goal during a corner.

That was another game we dominated badly only for us to fack it up.

I don't think Wenger will ever beat united again regardless of who their manager is

I agree its highly unlikely Wenger will have such a good oppotunity to beat united again

Any typical "Arsenal goal" should be judged from a statistical point of view, IMO. It should have a frequent occurrence, and be the result of a systematic and structural failure. Good examples of this, are the free headers we routinely gift the opposition. Think of Haangeland or Demichelis having the freedom of a running jump, before picking out a corner of the goal.
As for United, RvP's unopposed near-post effort from last season (that resulted in the own goal ) comes to mind.

This was a classic. It's 1-1 in a CL knockout away leg (a very good result on the cards). Campbell needlessly touches a ball back to Fabianski, which he foolishly decides to pick up. Fabianksi then proceeds to hand the ball straight to the ref, who gives it to the Porto player to take a quick free kick and tap it in the net while the Arsenal players are looking the other way. Porto win 2-1.

It has everything:
- Throwing away a good result in the last minutes
- Dumbfounding incompetence by the players involved
- Naivety (giving the ball to the ref)
- Rather dodgy decision from the ref (letting them play it quickly)
- Arsenal players feeling sorry for themselves and completely switching off
- Wenger blaming it on everyone except the players

Embarrassing buffoonery all round. Classic Arsenal.

Actually Porto's first goal in that game was a good one too - Fabianski leaves a massive gap at his near post and the striker can't believe his luck as he passes it in to the net.
