New First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is currently backing a dodgy EU-US trade deal which will take power out of Scotland, and put it in the hands of big American business. [1] The deal, TTIP, will allow big US corporations like McDonald’s to sue our governments if they don’t like our laws. [2] How can that be in Scotland’s interest?
It’s Nicola Sturgeon’s first week in power, so a huge petition now will be perfectly timed to influence her while she’s new in the job. Please can you sign the petition calling on her to change her mind and oppose TTIP?

I am honestly in despair at the moment.
I only have a clear vision of what I do not want.
I think the Scottish political system has not geared itself up to deal with global capitalism.
The separatists have grovelled to the Murdochs and Trumps.
We are seeing worrying signs with the issue behind the TTIP protocols.
It's all 'Presidential' now as we saw with Salmond and are now seeing with his creature Sturgeon.
