Are we closing the gap on the big 3?

It is weird though how we normally have a slump in November, but this season we're getting even better

Our only real November slumps were 10/11 and 12/13, the November curse has always been quite over played I thought. December has been just as dodgy for us in recent years.

Chelsea under Jose have a great future ahead. Whether it's 4 or 5 years or 10+, is down to Jose. I think if he's with you for 10 years, he could very well win you 5 titles in that time. He's an extremely good manager. I get the feeling Jose and Roman will work together better this time, and see no reason for Mourinho to move on except to manage Portugal. Sir Alex said that its hard to maintain standards at the highest for any longer than 4 seasons, and 4 titles on the spin in the holy grail. Come Jose's 4th season, he'll have to rip apart and rebuild his team before going into a transitional period. I can't see him doing that well in honesty, but equally I can't see him leaving Chelsea this time lightly.

I recon he'll be with you for the long haul now and for the next few years you'll be a hard prospect to catch. I'm sure United will step up and meet the challenge though. Going to be some big seasons ahead.

I think we can beat Bayern and Barca in an one off game or over two legs. Not so confident against Real Madrid.

Don't believe we've closed the gap too much yet, but we've established ourselves at the front of the queue of teams just behind them alongside Atletico and just in front of PSG.

One of the most intriguing ties (probably not most entertaining) the CL could produce this season is a rematch with Atletico. It'll be reminiscent of the matches we had against Liverpool in the mid to late noughties, the nervous tension of two teams and two managers completely cancelling each other out in those games will be delightful.

We don’t have the squad depth yet and I feel we’re one’ marquee’ player behind the rest. If we could get a Reus type player, Remy proves a genuine backup to Costa and we can establish a capable understudy to Matic then we’d be at a similar level.

I have to say i was thinking about how we would do agst AM if we draw them again in the CL and my conclusion was that I hope we do not draw them...

What is exciting for me, is i don't think this team has got close to what it can be.

agree Flash.....there is more to come from incumbent players and by buying one or two more top quality players..
