Do people genuinely believe that the Football league are conspiring against Leeds United to cause damage to the club?

Faith completely agree with your lengthy post starting about Lorimer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My view of him hasn't changed...as I said in my post...i'll never forgive him for sitting back and stroking Ken Bates balls whilst he was ripping the heart and soul from the club, just becuase his bar bill got paid and his pockets were being filled.
Footballing legend in his day, yeah.
He was my mum & my aunties hero in the 70's but he's a <shit> of a bloke now who I've got no respect for outside of his accomplishments as a player.
We even gave him 2 testimonials because he <pissed> the first one up the wall.
So my view is the same as it was and always - he's a puppet who doesn't care about the fans of the club that has served him so well all of his life. But he is correct in saying the club will suffer if the owner is removed. Which it will. So I cant see where the problem is.

Faith - I think you make some really great points, no issue at all with any of it.
I don't blame them for some caution over MC around tax, he's dug his own grave on that one.
Mine is just a personal viewpoint - I personally don't trust Harvey either. I've met, chatted and came away totally appalled by the guy - I'd trust him even less. That's why i'd not trust him as far as I could throw him.
We'll have to agree to disagree on what MC has done for the club. I sense a far more positive atmosphere around ER these days, and an improvement on the pitch - I firmly believe that left alone without the clowns (FL) distracting, we can start to develop again as a club. It's how it feels - not just to me, but to the regulars I sit and chat too every match.
Sometimes you've got to go with intangibles if you have that instinct about someone or something. You can be proven wrong, but I tend to allow things to pan out before rushing to judgements. I give benefit.
Only time will tell I guess - but personally, regardless of his issues, I don't see a better option right now than MC for improving our situation.

Jus, to be honest I was actually thinking about the summer window as a like for like.
I am just going off my memory here so may be wrong but I thought we received £200k + Morison for Becchio. The deal was valued at £1.2m with Morison making up £1m if that.
And tonge we paid more than £200k for.
In the summer we bought Murphy for £1m with other transfers in and no significant fees received.
Once again I can easily be priced wrong of incorrect.
VOF, completely entitled to your view. And there's nothing unreasonable about it. Just different to mine. I hope you're right.

It's pointless even trying to discuss the facts with these mongs.
They are trying their utmost to garner some support for their anti cellino club.
I almost pity them when we get promotion under Cellino's watch, having purchased ER because they'll be squirming around to try and justify their idiotic comments

Is being a weirdo similar to being a moron?

Weirdo's are more fun - you can take the pees out of them. Moron's tend to have more sympathy aimed at them .......... !

VOF weirdos have something aimed at them not sure if it's sympathy though
