Castle, I know you free willed and a genuine guy. You should look up the genocide of the Irish. There was no famine.

The american government claims Irish heritage for Kaflic votes and for hispanic votes. If the irish had so much influence, why is it the country is 100% protestant bar immigrants? It had no irish influence until 1880's. In America the Irish have done an amazing marketing job, but it's bullsheiyte and lies frankly. I love history and you are wrong claiming the irish built the place. The irish kaflics didn't show up until 1880's - that's a fact. As I said why is it not a kaflic country otherwise?

I think a lot of americans claim heritage as they know the term Scots irish and think Irish. I saw a show last year on tv where they asked about 10 Americans walking down the street what they thought of when they thought of Scotland and every single one of them said Ireland. Now that is laughable, they do not have a clue about their own history at all they really don't.

I know the strife and struggle the irish went through and that we caused. We had the same with the Highaland clearances. I am not saying that was right at all as it wasn't and isn't. There has been genocide of scots and there was a famine in ireland as there was in scotland at the same time due to the crop failing. The british government did fluck all which was shameful tbh.

Ireland had an impact on america. A massive one, but it was in the last 120 years or so, not as in founding the country.

Dod you know the irish bar thing was a marketing thing started in Dublin in the 80's? Some guy and his mate made a company to promote it? Look that up as it's true.

Castle, during the so called 'famine' ship loads of food were leaving Dublin port daily for England. Anyone who interfered was shot. At that time we were part of Britain. No wonder we wanted away!

Gnight pal, always enjoy the chat. You too BN
