Bringing Jose back to reality

Thank you, a massive result, my hat is off to you. Wiped that smug look off Jose's face you did, the race is back on, thanks to a stoic and resolute performance. I don't think Pardew gets enough credit TBF.

Said for ages that Pardew should get more credit. Not his fault Ashley keeps selling his best players. I'm sure Cabaye would be far better off back at Newcastle than on the bench for PSG.

the smug face from when exactly? when he said it was impossible to go unbeaten in the league?

What Reality?

Did you think he will NOT lose a match throughout the season? Media painted that invincible Chelsea picture, and it was it him...

Realistically...he will drop many points along the line for sure...but the rest will drop more.

* it was not him

Jose did not say Chelsea would go unbeaten,daft lad.

And after his winning record,let him be smug.

What do you and I do for a living,eh?

Just a month ago some were claiming we were just about mathamatically out of the title race. When we win at St. Mary's, we'll be within striking distance (no I'm not deluded) and City will be even that much closer.The title landing in Manchester, even if it's not us, is much more palatable than having it land in London. I have too many friends that would be over the (blue) moon if they nicked it from Chels. Nothing personal to our 2 Chelsea mates on this board, they are gentlemen, but home is where the heart lies.

Nik, as much as I respect Jose, he just has that smug look, eyes rolling, the sarcastic smile, sometimes it gets to me ( I realise it's part of the persona and at heart he's probably a proper bloke). But seeing him come back down to earth is a good thing, I'm tired of him having his way with us, you have to respect the pain he causes us year after year to appreciate what I'm saying).

Jose is smug,and superb at his job,so Chelsea will continue to enjoy his presence,and we will win more often,so all is good.

Oh to be shy,modest and a failure in football.

Jose being smug doesn't detract for his exellence as a manager, you have to look at it as an outsider to understand how much that "look" of his kills us. This isn't me trying to WUM you Blues, Jose owned Fergie, broke my heart that did. Having Jose lose lessens the pain he has caused us. The fact that the Chelsea lads on our board have been gentlemen this season makes it impossible for me to show disrespect.
