Brand Vs Farage

I don't if anybody watches Question Time, but there was a good debate between Farage and Brand regarding immigration.

What has free movement of labour got to do with free movement of capital? I can send money to USA/Canada/Australia at the click of a button, but I can't move there.

What are you on about?

When you were sending money to USA/Canada, ask your bank manager, why can't you send it by FPS (faster payment system) to reach it quicker? and for free..

I'm talking about few thousand not few hundred pounds.

Bank manager?

It's 2014 - online banking. Do you queue up in the bank to send your wages "back home"?

I think though, MUDD, that as Maf said, it is most likely down to "integration". So the EU migrants may be greater in number, but perhaps non-EU sgregate themselves more - creating more of a barrier.

Fair enough although I do not see eastern european communities trying to integrate like africans for instance.

Some could also draw a sinister conclusion that people prefer seeing a particular type of immigrant.

Are you sure?

To make it easy for you, when you visit New York/ Montreal try opening a bank account with your GB passport..

Then you'll understand what is "free movement of capital"
