I don't see you complaining about anyone using abusive language to myself.

Germany, I didn't feel great about it in principle, but I felt that since I hadn't called for a ban it really wasn't my job to oppose it. A bit like losing a fifty pence coin and finding a £20 note.

Hmmm............ I don't know if Clive and Meme would have been happy about me finding their £20.

I wouldn't be happy if it were mine!.

I'd be the idiot that'd go to the bank and change all the quid notes I had into 50p's, and go throwing them in every corner that you weren't looking at, then go away and come back an hour later and try and find them all!..

Mind you, the amount of looking in meme and clive do, they'll more then likely see where I've thrown them all and beat me to em!.

Jonty .... as a rule I don't give 2 hoots about anyone using language. I've lived long enough and been in enough canteens to become accustomed to it. It's all about where and when it's used for me.

To be open and fair to you, you debate without resorting to it. But some on here will use a bit of language, with some asterix and characters to get it passed the mods. I don't have a particular problem with it.

Whether language is abusive (and that comes in all forms) or derogatory i'm against it either way. We should all be able to view an opinion, even if not based on a solid fact, and that view be respected/accepted. Debate it for sure, disagree - but don't dismiss as an irrelevance because of some perceived divine right to the truth .........
