Latest transfer embargo

Under the transfer embargoes, the three clubs will be prohibited from signing any new players - either on a permanent or loan deal - unless they have 24 or fewer “established players’’, which is described as 24 players aged 21 or over that have made at least five starts for the club.

If we are under embargo, perhaps Neil will take his blinkers off and use the large squad we have and rest players, try something different etc

It seems 20 is about right according to Pope but not the 20 I had
It's evidently aged under 21 at the start of the season and no more than 5 starts for the club EVER.
He's still got 20 though

this will take a hit also in ticket sales, cant see some fans paying 30 quid to see a team pass it around the centre circle for 90 mins. only reason we move forward is because the opponents strikers start pressurising us to there centre backs. sometimes we win a corner and cross it into there keeper. - whilst we wont go down, we also wont go up. so expect 19-21k next year folks because the only players were gonna sign are Malcolm Christine & Heskey

If the math is correct that would mean we can 'only' sign four players. In previous seasons that would have been seen as a ceiling due to finances so I think we know what to expect in reality. The question is, what is the limit to any incoming players?
Must be free I would assume?
If a loan then it must have a wage cap?
Does anyone know?
Just shows, the out going players, timed with the influx of MC's signings has made the situation manageable against not moving some of the players on that he did and being told we could either sign one or none due to hitting the 24 cap.
