I'm baffled at how Leeds can have suffered a more-than £8m loss last season. Where has the £11m gone that we received for Ross McCormack, not to mention other transfer sales? We cannot claim persecution by the FL - all the clubs live by the same rules, but unlike Leeds, most clubs know how to keep their finances in order. We've got bigger attendances home and away than half of the Premier League clubs and yet we're supposedly losing money. So where's the money going/gone? Possibly the players' wage bill - we've long had a notoriously oversized squad of largely unused (or should that be useless?), vastly overpaid players, but I'd hoped the sensible (at least money-wise) Cellino had gone some way to sorting that out. But if it's not the wage bill that's to blame either, where on earth could the money be going to? Hmm, over to you, Massimo...

I also allow him to fantasise about my mum online. It's the closest he gets to female interaction.
The only big bust that boy will see this year will happen to his beloved Leeds

Its not much of an embargo...you can still loan players...which is probably what you would have done anyway...as long as they dont earn over 600k a year...so players on 12k a week you can still loan in
How does the fl call that an embargo??...if thats all the punishment the fl are gonna dish out its not much of a deterant is it??....clubs are just gonna carry on spending

Regarding the ban, I doubt very much we were going to splash the cash anyway, so no biggie.

The thing is that they have to be seen to be fair with the teams who have over spent. Basically this is because, if for example, Leeds or any other team had less than 24 'experienced' players, got some injuries and they were not allowed to bring anyone in at all then it could be certain relegation.
In fact if they did that they might as well just deduct points to those teams who overspend.
The other thing to consider is that the overspend could be from a previous owner and the new one is trying to correct things as swiflty as he can.
Unfortunatley our culprits still own 25% of the club so it's right we should be hit with an embargo.
