Anybody impressed by how quickly they have found a way to be very effective as a front 3 while giving us the defensive discipline to manage our injury crisis at the back!
United fans laugh at Danny as though he is being played as a winger but he is effectively playing as a second striker using Giroud as a foil. Giroud is also using the space created by Sanchez and Danny to find himself free to be able to score goals. The second goal against Newcastle he was virtually alone he had enough time to have a quick wánk before applying the finishing touch.
Pundits fell over themselves trying to pick holes in our performance against Newcastle but the truth is we created far more chances than Chelsea did and virtually staved Newcastle of the ball making them redundant for the duration of the match.
Newcastle are a good side even away from home. They just failed to live with our front 3 interchanging all game. I can actually see all 3 players playing up front for us long term which means the likes of Theo and Ox will have to come off the bench. Danny and Giroud add the necessary height we require at setpiece time.
Interesting times ahead as Arsene has a plethora of attackers from which to chose a front 3. I really hope we hold on to Podolski as I think he is a good player to have off the bench. Imagine a bench of Ox,Theo and Podolski
Its crazy how our squad is bursting with attacking talent after a season we looked toothless in attack.
I feel sad for Theo and Wilshere my favourite players as injury has well and trully set them back but our front 6 in the short term should be
..............Ramsey........New DM
.........................Ozil.........................
Sanchez.......Giroud........Danny
Imagine a bench of Wilshere,Santi,Ox,Theo,Podolski,Chambers,Monreal when all players are fit.
good times ahead!
Danny, Giroud & Sanchez

"we have many players that can play midfield but most of them aren't strong enough for the rigors of PL footie"
There. I fixed it for you. Many skillfull players in midfield =/=strong midfield. That is something Arsene doesn't seem to get into his head after so many years where that has cost us. Even Fergie said in his autobio that that is where we started falling behind and stopped being competitive.

Where not shiite but I agree we do have a physically weak midfield that's tactically clueless at times especially when we are under pressure.
With regards to individual skill in our midfield we are very good but as was pointed out possession does not necessarily mean you win games otherwise we would have won the title countless times over the past years.

such a weird comment from a specialist critique/wánker considering that welbeck did not start the game against Stoke. The same 3 started against westbrom and we won comfortably.

The strange thing would be ignoring the four out of the last 5 games we have won just to obess over the one loss against our bogey team. We will always struggle away to Stoke its just one of those things. Just like Chelsea struggle away to newcastle, Spurs struggle away at chelsea, West ham struggle away to Everton and liverpool struggle home and away to everyone.
