Goodbye Podolski

Pod is a killer in front of goal

German media only quote english and italian reports about it. I think its only a rumour.

I'd rather sonogo and Campbell are shipped out on loan, so we can give podolski more game time, then maybe sell him in the summer. Podolski is far more useful than those 2 and much more experienced. I think if he's not replaced we could miss him for the rest of the season. Wenger really doesn't seem to like playing podolski at all for some reason, so I guess Pod is probably pushing for a move.

Loan wtf. Pointless doing this unless a fee has been agreed for the summer.

Podolski has a phenomenal shot and an excellent cross - but not much else.

He doesn't hold the ball up well as a striker, he is weak in the air, he has no pace and tracks back very poorly - how can you start a player like that ?

He IS useful as an impact player as the opposition tire when you are well on top. Maybe (?) you can pay a player £80k a week and take up a squad place just for that - but as he won't settle for such a role anyway I'm not sure how we keep him.
