Today sees a return by the rightful heir of Match Thread, much to the appreciation of 666.......yes!! I think you got to "someone" 666
Leeds, against whom we performed so poorly against just a few weeks ago. A game notable only by the disgraceful Adryan double pike followed by a flop.......disgraceful
Derby are too confident - this makes me nervous. Weren't we confidant when we played the Dirties at Elland Road? As has been found out too many times before, pride tends to come before a fall...
Do we bring back Bryson or let Eustace reprise his role??
Will this match thread serve to reveal the true frontrunners for JA606DCFCPOTY2014??
Could this also be a contender for best match thread of the year?

Thanks for the rundown. I never thought Best was a good signing. But the dilemma always present in a team with a decent squad of players is how to have cover for key players. No decent player will tolerate sitting on the bench. The only chance is to find somebody who needs to resurrect a career and for him to get a chance by a long term injury. Not a very frequent event.

Ramps I disagree with you about Martin's hold up play. For the rest of your comment I totally agree with
Martin needs a rest he looked tired last night yet again.....

I hope not Wassa, well not a permanent signing anyway

Wassa, have you tried specsavers? Martin held the ball up really well as usual and caused them problems even when he was outnumbered 3 to 1. He did the job he was paid to do.

What as part of an ad break? Surely not a whole programme?

I thought Martin was excellent last night and has been all season.

Wassa almost every time the ball came to him he brought it down deftly and most times flicked it on to another player who then lost possession or went on a run and shot himself. Only lost the ball a couple of times which given that there's 4 defenders and one of him, isn't surprising. There's so much more to his game than goals.

Also Wassa if he's tired now, I can't wait to see him wake up. He's got 16 goals in all competitions and it's not even 2015 yet! Plenty more to come from him.
