I only recently found out that there were 3rd place playoff games in the FA Cup in the 70's. A couple were ridiculously played at the start of the following season.

I think I'm correct in saying we were part of the first league fixtures shown on MOTD, Sky & more recently BT.
Whilst rather memorably being a part of the last televised league fixture on ITV.
We either get the show on the road or see it out in style as far as the TV companies are concerned!
