Thats more like it!

Now as people may or may not know I am in the 'Wenger out' campaign. I 'joined' this cult as I thought that Wenger had lost his touch with regard to tactics and team selection. I had always said that if we actually get a result away from home I might then reconsider my feelings on Wenger.

Today I was totally taken a back by our play: Compact, focused and good pressing. This is the Wenger of old! My main gripe is why has he been so naive for this amount of time before it finally clicks? This is the way the fans want to see us win, by playing a sensible game against Top opposition.

To finish, after a very convincing and satisfying victory I still cant help but think that Wenger will end up losing the plot once again and start trying to play against opposition of that strength. We shall see in the future if this holds true.

Peace out
JAG

An excellent performance but Wenger still needs to go. Nothing will change my mind.

I remember after we beat Bayern Munich at the Alianz a few years ago that game changed us. We looked a different team for the rest of the season and didn't lose many if any at all from that point onwards. Hopefully yesterdays result can have a similar impact on the team

I aagre with Al though. we need to do this more consistently. We aren't going to always beat big teams but we need to put in respectable performances.

We've done fairly well against City, Liverpool, Spurs in recent years. Its Man utd and Chelsea we need to change against both home and away. We could have our best 11 out and they could play there reserves but our players seem to have a mental block playing against them

We want him to stay forever in charge of Arsenal

Was yesterday signs of a new dawn, or a blip of brilliance that will paper over seasons of indifference for a few weeks?

It as a very good performance by everybody including the manager but we have done this before and lets be honest Man City were not a strong midfield yesterday.

I'm with what some others have said, we need to do it against Chelsea and Manchester United in fact as a top club we should never be taken apart also like we were at Liverpool.

Lets see some consistency and momentum and then I personally will reevaluate my own opinion on Wenger. There are not too many out there of Arsenal that have wanted him not to succeed he drove us to this point with his naive tactics and stubbornness from the past. Also, something has to be done about the injury crisis's we have every season, be it better training or more physically adapt players to the Premier League.

Arsene signed up to JA606 and read all the articles about how clueless he is at the tactical side of things, hence yesterdays performance

also with regards to injuries, we need better cover in the squad with quality cover and a little bit more rotation. That will involve more money and a mentality that being 4th is no longer what we are aiming for the Premier League title is. That has to come from the board to move us on to the next level.
