LVG's crazy quotes.

I wonder why this ridiculous quote from LVG went un-mocked. Had a certain ranga Scottish guy said this after a game with a league 2 side he'd have been crucified on here..

"Every aspect of the match is against us - the pitch, the referee. Everything that you can think about this is against you. In the second half we did much better but OK we are not out of the Cup. That is the most important thing."

It could just be possible that we're stuck with a mad genius who might just turn out to be the biggest dud of all.

Nothing is wrong with it MUDd especially when taken in context with the rest of his comments after the match.

Mourinho doesn't do philosophy he adapts to teams but then again LVG looks at other sides heights and adapts to but players similar playing style. Maybe LVG has envisaged in turning us into Barcelona just like Brendan Rodgers has envisaged turning Liverpool into the same.

There was no reason to even mention the ref though.

Fail to beat Cambridge then go on about pitch and referee? I dont expect Viddy not to be in denial anyway he is defending the comments across multiple threads
Any other manager would have got stick for that but obviously not when its your own manager.

What did he say about the ref?

Do`nt the Club employ people to assess the opposition before fixtures, to include the opposition, the condition of the pitch, the proximity of the crowd to the pitch and report on the same in order for the Manager to choose the correct players and adjust his team tactics accordingly.
Obviously this did not happen here, according to the excuses on offer.

For me, LVG should be playing in a style to get the best out of the players we have.

What he is actually doing is playing players in a way to get the best out of his own philosophy.

If we don't currently have the players to play his philosophy, then don't bloody play it yet.

As regard his comments, the ref comment was a joke.

Robb is correct in saying moyes would have been berated. He would have. His aspiring to be city comment last season was taken out of context just to berate him.

I watched the game carefully on Friday night and I believe I am 100 percent bob on when I say this

1. Players are running away from the man with the ball.
2. There is rarely a forward outlet.
3. We never attack the opposition box in numbers.
4. We can't counter attack for chit.

I don't want this manager rebuilding united in his image. He won't be here long enough. And it didn't need rebuilding anyway. It needed tinkering with.

The jigsaw had a few pieces in the wrong place and a couple of pieces were missing. It didn't need being taken apart and starting again.

1. Players are running away from the man with the ball. Nope, this is inaccurate

2. There is rarely a forward outlet. There is, Falcao, made a lot of runs but people were passing it back, when Carrick finally get the courage to do so he almost scored

3. We never attack the opposition box in numbers. Agreed

4. We can't counter attack for chit. We can if Adnan did not slow down the play more than Valencia
