West deserves attacks?

I keep getting articles pulled,but genuinely want to debate,and especially with muslim folk,as I have no contact with followers of islam,in Belfast.

I regard myself as a Christian,but am interested in other faiths,and politic's in general.

This forum is not just about fitba,and we all know that.

No reason we can't debate in a civil manner,about anything,really.

Some of the political and news.current affairs forums are pretty racist,narrow minded and dull.
I prefer to debate with some people I kinda know.

I'm no great fan of Organised religion as a whole tbh, think it has a lot to answer for, particularly Catholicism in Central Africa, personal faith and a belief in god is completely different and helps people

I did not enter church,other than weddings and funeral for thirty years,Mex,and go now,about twice a month.

Do not let me loose on the Catholic church topic,as my bhoy mates will track me down.

Mt faith,and counselling/mindfulness based on Zen,has got me through depression,in 2014.

Whatever works for you,imo.

Completely agree Tbab, like I say having a faith and a belief in god can be a good thing, i don't but I know that it helps people through tough times, but Organised religion is just a way of controlling people and taking their money, the Mormon faith for example, they give 10% of their salaries to the church very month have you read about how the Mormon church was formed and the story of Joseph Smith? It's hilarious, if ever there was a more obvious con job then I've yet to see it, yet millions of people believe it, it's laughable and very sad all at the same time

TV evangelists in the States are awful money men,Mex.

I only give in what I can afford at church,and it is a tiny set up,in the Antrim hills,so they need a few bob.

I only started going after a mate's Mum had her funeral there,and I liked the relaxed feel of the place.

I do not believe we deserve to be attacked either,as it was not in my name,and the troops are under orders,by those who rule us.

Foreign policy was messed up,to be blunt,but jihadi's are operating with a natzi style agenda,to create power in a claphate,for their form of muslim utopia.

You see,we can debate in peace.

I am off to watch Unforgiven,after loving Clint's Gran Torino,last night.
