Is Le Fondre better than what we have now?

I'd say he is marginally better - but surely we want really better? I'd have Beckford back before Le Fond. We know Beckford can deal with the ER atmosphere (most of the time).

I'm not sure if we're looking at the right areas. I think with the right service the strikers we have now would score enough - it's the supply to them that's missing. We've got no one who runs at defences (how long we been saying that?) and moves them around to create the space for the strikers. We need to loan a decent pacey winger - as we can't buy one. Just my opinion of course ......

However, I think you're right, it's the creativity in midfield to provide service for strikers that seems to be missing

Jonty - Adryan in theory is that player, and I suspect he was brought in to provide that role.

In my opinion he's not been given sufficient time/run in the side. It's a new league, a new team and a complete step up to what he's used to. No doubt the lad has talent, and he puts in a shift (which surprised me). For me he needed a run of games, a long run of games, to come to terms with this league.

Saying that i'd not change the current set up. Results and performances have improved/levelled off - not a time to change things for me. Bring in Samba to replace the Italian hand grenade, but other than that i'd leave well alone for the Hudders game.

I do think Adryan should be on the bench - there's politics behind the scenes with his situation.

Whilst I don't agree with the hype around Adryan, he does have something and one would hope he could fulfil a creative role.

I did find he was rather ineffective in end product though and Redfearn probably right to change things.

But, he's not even featuring for U21s, so how is expected to turn his form around and more importantly demonstrate to coaches that he has turned his form around?

I wouldn't change what seems to be a more effective selection either, so it is really hard to see where Adryan will fit back into things and without any sustained run, I just can't see how 3m can be justified based on what we've seen so far.
