Alexis Sanchez should be dropped

They say goals can mask performances well this is true of the overrated Chiliean. He is constantly giving balls away to the opposition in dangerous areas which lead to counter attacks and goals conceded. He does more damage than good for us that there is really no point in him playing even if he is scoring because he keeps costing us every game. He is slightly more clinical version of Gervinho. If you compare the two there is a lot of similarities. Both headless chickens, both shoot and pass the wrong times.

Sanchez always makes the wrong decision, keeps hogging the ball and slowing down our counter attacks and tempo by dwelling on the ball when if he passes it quicker we could create a goalscoring chance.

Now that brings me to Theo Walcott. Probably our best finisher and technically our most gifted. Sanchez needs to be dropped so we can play our best player Walcott and then watch us fly to the top of the league.

Also we do have a solution to our defensive midfield problems. No im not talking about our new wonder kid we have just signed or the one game wonder Coquelin. I am talking about our big German Per Mertesacker. He can be the new Makelele. How many times isit that Per starts our attacks? I give you a answer all the time. He brings it out of defence and sprays passes all around. Wenger should move him forward to midfield to shield the defence and let him dictate our tempo.

I love the idea of Per being the new Makelele. 5from me.

I don't know why people can't just go with the flow on articles like this - it's clearly meant to be a joke, how is it a 'wum'? It's not particularly funny, but surely only someone with the worst sense of humour would get 'wound up' by it.

If I remember correctly Mertesacker up top vs Wigan basically saved our bacon. No reason he can't play there too

Brilliant!

The ONLY thing wrong with this article, OP... it's "Chilean".

Mertesacker could be our Xabi Alonso

This is somewhat of a joke surely? Not only has he been Arsenal's talisman all this time, but he gets the fans excited and he strikes fear into the opposition when he plays.

How does an opposition manager set up against him? The opposition managers don't focus on how to win the game at the Emirates, they focus on how do they stop Sanchez and Arsenal's front line. Then, they hope for a decent bit of build up play, a quick break away or a set piece.

Not mention in 21 league apps he has12 goals and 7 assists. In this league and Arsenal's position, that is actually really quite good tbh. Why are you criticizing your best player? I was right to think that some Arsenal fans were fickle. Bloody hell.

Game glorious game - you are clueless. Alexis is clearly a massive liability to the team and it's no coincidence we are far worse off this season with him than we were last season.

The team has been worse this season. Its not about where you are after 20 or so games, you'll still get to the top 4 by the end of the season guaranteed.
