Bamba...first of a new 'breed' ?

Apparently Bamba did more than alright today.
Given that we've been playing better since we've had less of the European lads in the team, maybe Bamba is a sign Salerno/Cellino are starting to realise what type of player we need for the Championship?

Is cutting the mustard a sexual metaphor?

I think you should judge him from the start of his role in this formation - so far he's led the attack extremely well, had a few good attempts, but not scored.

Bamba looked very good today but the star man was the way C Taylor kept their tricky winger in his pocket.

Another 3pts and unbeaten this year in the league.......

Eric, of course we could - in theory - get a better striker to lead the line. But we will have to agree to disagree if you really think Morison as he has played in the last few games is not good enough.

Maybe the Italian we have been linked with will be far better, maybe we'll sign him, maybe I'll carry on saying Morison as he is now playing is good enough in the meantime until that happens.

1st goal v Huddersfield - Byram is ahead of our best striker. He's the one on the end of the forward pass, he's the one burying the ball.

Steve Morison does a wonderful job running in behind him waving his arms in celebration.

2. Sharp (a sub) is ahead of our best striker. He's the one on the end of the cross, he's the one burying the ball.

We need a striker who is going to get into the dangerous positions and regularly score goals.

I bet teams like Chelsea wish they didn't have Costa, Arsenal wouldn't want Sanchez, Derby wouldn't want Martin, Ipswich wouldn't want Murphy and even lowly Chesterfield wouldn't want Doyle, they'd all want someone who can trap a ball, run down the channels and score as many goals in a season as their goalkeeper.

I'll give him credit where it is due though he does celebrate well.

His opinions aren't even based on that. Just on contradicting whatever those who went to the game say. Because he has a massive inferiority complex.

LhiW

I've told you before not to try your patter on me, I'm a happily married man thank you. It might work on fragrant blossoms like Pags, but as flattered as I am, you're not my type. Although I'll wager that shirt you're currently wearing looked a lot better in the catalogue....!

Am I wrong for wanting better...?

Simple question to a simpleton...!

You do that to folk. I'm not the only one to notice either. From now on you will be 'Interesting Faith' as a tribute.

And furthermore LhiW, I reckon there will be many on here, cheery and dreary, know you looked at your shirt when you read that last comment.
