10 points is loads that's the difference from us being 5 like we are and 2nd like we would be.

Being better at football than 16 other teams in the league up to now. That's all there is to it. Delude yourselves as required to come to terms with it.

Although it is a little unfair on the other teams that our goalkeeper actually saves shots, if he didn't we would probably be bottom...

WNM Moyes was 21 points off previous seasons total after 25 games and 23 points off after 26 games and 26 points off after 30 games. Reality is it means nothing for current season. Man utd are currently 15 points behind this season with LVG then they were under SAF in his final season and man utd won next 5 fixtures so if LVG Man utd win next 5 games Man utd will still be 15 points SAF last season points total although there were under seasons like 98/99 LVG Man utd this season would be nearly neck and neck with that side points total..

Mendes is right Man utd 15 points behind SAF last season points tally after 25 games and if Man utd don't win next 5 games that will further increase maximum by 15 points realistically by 2 or 4 points..
