Bristol City V Peterborough Utd

The Posh visit Bristol on Tuesday night. City were the best team I have seen at London Road so far this season, however, they lost at home to Sheffield Utd on Saturday; so, I'm hoping they won't be feeling the self-belief they had when beating the Posh earlier in the season.

We played well on Saturday, so a repeat performance could see us beat the Robins, or at least secure a draw.

I'd like to see Luke James score a goal, and Maddison too. A win would set us up for the next game against another high-flying team, the MK Dons.

If we lose that's nothing, so there's nothing to lose; so, let's win instead.

Unfortunately, Joe Newell and Marcus Maddison are both doubts for the Posh, but Jon Taylor and David Norris will be available; so here's wishing them the best.

Beat the Robins and we can beat the Dons, although I'd like to see the Dons go up.

C'mon the Posh!

Hi Thorney, I hope you are well. I've been out of the country for a while, hence my silence on here.

I need you to get a result at City, and the Franchise too for that matter. My lads are stuttering away from home at the moment and I don't want us to lose too much ground, so please do the business. Your form seems much improved so I know you can.

Why do you want the Franchise to go up? Please explain.

We are improving, Don, so hopefully we'll get a result at Ashton Gate. It's a tall order but Sheffield put three past the Robins on Saturday, so anything is possible. It's important that we score first.

I'd like the Franchise to go up because they've been close to going up for a number of seasons. We've beaten them in two sets of play-off games. The long-serving chairman and manager both deserve it. They're also fairly local and their fans are OK.

Swindon, MK Dons and the Posh winning promotion. Now wouldn't that be nice!

As for tonight, C'mon the Posh!

2-0 - not good. It looks, Don, like the Robins will be promoted.

We limited them to just 3 shots on target and 11 shots away to top of the league side. Not to bad apart from result. Could have had more efforts ourselves. Peterborough playing 3 sides next who are.making the headlines this season to.
