Or are we now deludedly celebrating throwing away two points at the death against an Everton side who were pretty awful today. Don't get me wrong, a point on paper against these lot looks great PRE MATCH - but not when you've clawed your way back to a narrow lead with 2 minutes left......5 points adrift.
The games are running out and today would have cancelled out the home loss to Palace. For those saying we have a great run in, look at our previous results against QPR, Burnley, West Brom etc.......
Yes we played really well, but I don't really see how being 4 points off safety rather than 5 is any cause for renewed hope. Particularly when NP persists with playing a technically gifted shadow striker up front on his own and takes off the man of the match, the man who was protecting the defence, for Andy bloody King with 5 mins to go. 5 mins.............
Incredibly this is being treated by some like a win.....and while they're entitled to their views and their bonkers optimism that we could actually stay up, I'm certainly not going to join in.
This side would only have stayed in this division with a different manager......not going to happen under Pearson.
Am I going mad....?

Tommy give over, youre as bad as the rest of us. Ive seen you say worse to Nev so dont make out you don't have a pop at people you dont agree with, even tongue in cheek....
Holier than thou certainly doesnt suit you..!

It certainly feels like a loss rather than a point gained! Whilst I don't think it would do any good to ditch NP now I have no confidence at all in his leadership any more. How he can continue to play Schwarzer instead of Hamer beggars belief, not to mention Wes Morgan, and Albrighton can't even make the bench???
He obviously has some issues there. If he continues like this, stubbornly ignoring players who have shown they have what it takes, and playing his "favourites", then relegation is assured. If he does take the team down then IMO he should NOT be given the chance to take us back up.

BS
Where have I said I don't have a pop at people?
I will always debate my corner of my opinion as we all do. I have NEVER said that my opinion is right and anyone that disagrees is wrong.
As for holier than thou...... I think not, I would love to be but it doesn't sit well on my shoulders 😉

Btw Blackstarr - in answer to your question - NO you aren't going mad!

Putting things into perspective one of our fellow foxes lost their life at the match today apparently! It's just a game...

I guess what confuses me tommy is your reaction to a tongue in cheek jibe when you do the same to others like Nev.
When you start talking about diminishing other peoples opinions, referencing my comment, that's where it starts to sound holier than thou and a tad hypocritical given some of the (valid) stuff you have said about Nevs posts.

One of our fellow fans had travelled up on a coach and I believe was taken ill while walking from the coach to the ground BS.
Supporting the club he loved, I suppose it makes everything else seem insignificant.
If I confused you BS I apologise, I am just passionate about our club just like you. We are just poles apart at the moment.

Sad news tommy, does indeed make everything else insignificant.
Well last week I think we weren't so far apart in our views, as many started to question Pearson tactically. This week I think he was better, but I still honestly believe someone else could keep this group up, such is the quality of some of the players we have
