Just seen this 2nd half of the season stat for BR which if kept at 2.5ppg for whole season they would finish with 95 points. If football was that simple

The problem with those sorts of comparisons is you're comparing similar positions.

Coutinho and Sturridge, Rooney and RvP, are pairs of strikers, so won't square off, as they play at opposite ends of the pitch to each other.

You need to pair the strikers off against the opposition defenders etc.

Ok a generalisation but you get my point.

That would say who is more equipped to defeat the other. The person above claimed the United squad is much better than the Liverpool one. I think I've demonstrated that it isn't.

But that should also be a warning to anyone thinking the seasons top 4 is done and dusted.
