He just wasn't as good as Hazard, Willian or Schurrle. He had potential because of his raw pace, but whenever he was given a chance he fluffed his lines. Good luck to him - I hope he does well at Fiorentina. But not quite good enough for Chelsea with the players we've got.

Salah seems a better option than Cuadrado right now, but Salah just couldn't make the impact needed.

Salah was not given a proper chance to make an impact for Chelsea and the way he is playing for Fiorentina shows that Mourinho made a mistake in sending him to Italy.When I said that Salah should have played more for Chelsea I was criticised for saying that!

There was a large group of "Salah out" wumming from the moment we signed him. None of it serious. But they kept it up. It was all a bit stupid tbh.

I think what people are forgetting is Salah did not fit the style of Chelsea. Teams dig their heels in against us and Salah is terrible at breaking down defences and we saw time and time again that his finishing isn't all that at Chelsea, neither was it at Basel.

It's easy to say we never gave him a chance when he has really hit the ground running at Fiorentina but he's better suited with them than us.

There's been some discrepancies over whether there's a clause in his loan which allows him to leave for pretty much what we got him for. Hopefully it's not there because teams can now see what he's capable of.
