J Henderson.

Come on, who actually thought we had a real player on our hands? I was underwhelmed when we signed him and then I watched him for the first season and I was still underwhelmed.

He offered very little and seemes always to pander to Gerrad; I have the ball..give it to gerrard; I have space where's gerrard; I can shoot..wheres gerrard! Probably wasnt quite like that but it seemed to be. He was definitely in awe of gerrard and I think is on record as pretty much saying so.

Well what a transformation, it hasnt been overnight but a gradual improvement and to my mind its helped that gerrard has been missing when Henderson is at his most dangerous. Right now id say Henderson is Liverpools MVP, he can tackle, score great goals, assist and press all over the pitch. Hes not gerrard, hes J Henderson and hes so much better for being and believing in himself.

Hes still young and still improving and for what he offers I dont think there mamy like him in the premier league, whatever the faults of the previous recruitment team they got this one 100% correct. £16M for J Henderson.....its an absolute fkn steal!
