Good afternoon lads, just looking forward to the United game on Monday and trying to predict our starting 11. Schezza should start if he passes fit according to Wenger, and the back 4 pretty much picks itself atm. I'd like to see Monreal come in though if he is passed fit as although Gibbs has been good offensively this season, he has the tendency to switch off at the back e.g Austins goal.
Coquelin is a no brainer. Always liked the lad and hes added much needed steel to our midfield. Guy has a good pass on him too. I imagine Santi will be the in the midfield but his position depends on whether Wenger plays Ramsey, Rosicky or Ozil. Preferably, i'd play Ramsey next to le coq just to add more protection to our midfield. He looked good in his cameo vs QPR so hopefully he rediscovers his form of last season and uses it to solidify a real top 4 and fa cup challenge.
Alexis and Giroud are no brainers, and i'd put Welbeck on the wing to give him a chance to prove himself to the united crowd. Im sure the lad will be up for this game. Although Ozil and Rosicky have been amazing, I believe we need to play on the counter which means we need pace on the wings when we break. Having said that, Ozil playing on the left wing may allow United to target that side therefore if he is to play, then he should play in midfield otherwise start on the bench.
Going into the game, we will have a strong bench of Ospina, Chambers, Gibbs(?), Rosicky, Ozil, Theo and Ox.
If there's ever a time to beat United, then it surely has to be now but i fully expect Falcao, Di Maria, Rooney and Fellaini to have blinders..

I think Merts might cost us shame about Gabriel and though I'd like Calum there, 2 teens at the back is too risky in this kind of game
If ever Welbz wanted to prove himself as CF this would be the game

I would go for pace upfront. I think we an win with pacey wingers and pace upfront.
Agree Coq and Caz are no brainers. The defense is almost clear. Think Gibbs will play again even if Monreal is fit.

Well that makes sense.... Ozil can't be 'rested' and Cazorla can, yet you put in Caz and not Özil?
Think Chambers will start at RB, Welbeck up front.

If Caz plays must be instead of Ozil not deep again. Rambo should start for me.
I'd play Ozil ahead of Caz for this one just to prove himself in the big games and have the opportunity to play between a quick and direct front 3..... that's if Wenger opts for that of course

That is the team I would play. We should drop one of Santi or Ozil for this game. I would prefer it if it was Ozil.
