Sagna "Considers Man City exit "

Apparently he is growing agitated at his lack of opportunities at Man City.
Did he honestly think that he would oust Zabaleta ? Let's face it he never was the sharpest tool in the box ...or out of it for that matter.

That's what happens when you leave a club that made you and whose fans begged you to stay ....for MONEY $$$.

Hope you rot on the bench. How are the piles by the way ?

Normally I would agree with DJ and Genius as Sagna did serve us well. Part of me is relishing the fact he's not getting to play. Nobody wanted him to leave, he was just greedy at the end of the day.
___________

Football is about money. At the end of the career it's understandable that he is looking for money first. I have no problem with that attidute.

I think Drogba once said that he was looking for money at the end of his career. I have nothing than respect for that kind of honesty

Like Sagna hadn't made enough money in his career at Arsenal. Just how much money do these guys need? It's just greed . Nothing less. He should have stayed and ended his career with us.

The guy earns more in a week than most, if not all, of us can hope to earn in a year. For training and sitting.

I'm sure he'd be laughing his ass off reading some of these comments.

I care not what he does or where he goes. He's no longer an interest of mine, he's just another rich person.

He was with us for 8 years and never asked for a pay rise. He gave us his best years when so many of our best players didn't, he stuck with us through the bad times and left on a high. I've got nothing but respect for the guy, he is the closest thing we've got to a legend throughout the trophiless era. Some of the things people say about him really irritate me. He has earned his final pay day and whether we like it or not, he has a better chance of winning trophies with City, than with us.

By the way, this is the same guy who came back from 2 leg breaks and then got booed vs United because of a terrible performance. If fans can't stay loyal to him then who can blame him for packing his bags?

Really our fault we should have offered Sagna a 3 year contract in the 1st place before City came sniffing about. Loyalty works both ways and fans can fack off if they disagree. Now we are stuck with that tomato can Debuchy.

Some really silly comments about probably our best post-Invincibles era servant.

Whilst every other decent player jumped ship at the first opportunitiy, and the likes of Kos were mouthing off about top 4 trophy not being enough, Sagna just got on with doing what he does. He lost his acceleration after his injuries but matured and improved on his defensive side to cover it.

Am really happy we got to send him off with a trophy before he left.

Do you apply this logic to players who leave clubs that made them to join Arsenal for money?
