JLA .............. i'm not sure you can compare the 2 players either. I don't know, because I don't watch him play at Oldham, but can only assume he was signed to be a pacey striker who got the ball to feet or just beyond the defences. For me he was never a "target man", in the mould of Morisson. He's a different kind of striker - though they do share similarities in their goal performances it could be argued.
My point was only ever that suggesting Poleon is an example of a better player from last season, well quite frankly it's laughable.

I originally checked wiki for the Poleon stats. That indicated 23 appearances and 1 goal.
Not satisfied with the wiki version of things, I checked the Oldham Athletic Football Club website .... that's where I updated my comment to reflect the 31 and 3. I'm inclined to believe the actual club website old bean.
It's not difficult really, unless of course as usual you're squabbling about a pedantic point, which is par for the course with you ...........
