Apologies for my french ladies and gentlemen, but I just saw this on SkysportsF1.
Red Bull threaten to quit F1 unless regulations are changed
"The former world champions finished the season-opening event a lap down on runaway leaders Mercedes, who have dominated the sport since the advent of F1’s new power-centric turbo era.
According to Helmut Marko, an advisor to Dietrich Mateschitz, the Red Bull magnate who owns both the eponymous outfit and its junior team Toro Rosso, the group could withdraw from the sport at the end of the year."
"We will evaluate the situation again [in the summer] as every year and look into costs and revenues," Marko was quoted telling the Austrian media in Melbourne.
"If we are totally dissatisfied we could contemplate an F1 exit. The danger is there that Mr Mateschitz loses his passion for F1."
Horner has also been whining about limiting the performance of Mercedes. Why should teams be punished because your team is incompetent?
What next? Should Marussia say the other teams need to be slowed down for them? When they were winning, Toto Wolff called their dominance inspirational.
This just smacks of sour grapes and is really disgusting from team fizzy drinks. If you want to leave, go right ahead.
Clowns
What an Effin Joke

Draculencia, the reason people challenged Redbull was because of the quality of their drivers And unreliability.
If Alonso or Hamilton had been in a redbull you would have seen complete and utter dominance
---------------------------------
You can put in anyone in this Mercedes and it will be utter dominance, its that far ahead of anyone else. Way more than the Red Bull was.
I can see where Red Bull are coming from though. During their dominance, it wasn't really about the engine power, pretty much all engines were about the same, it was more to do with the chassis, and the aerodynamics design, which Red Bull were far superior than anyone else. Teams bring in upgrades to improve their car's performance to catch up to the team dominating, the difference this time around is, if the engine is so $hit, there is nothing you can do.
Remember when Brawn absolutely dominated back in 2009, as much as Mercedes are doing right now, but when other teams learned about the double diffuser, they managed to catch up. Unlikely that’s going to happen this time though.

i agree with you draculencia - however the levelling out mechanism shouldnt be at the expenses of mercedes slowing down, it should be the other teams catching up. If they CANT do this through ability, then it shouldnt be manufactured.
Red bull, in year 4 where as dominant as mercedes - vettel singapore, vettel monaco spring to mind. Vettel holding back in the 1.16s, then threw in a 1.14...for a laugh or something to that affect. Showed how much they where holding back. Merc will naturally go faster because they have 2 drivers battling, so lewis, cant hold back as much as vettel would have done, because if he does, rosberg will pass him. Vettel didnt have that problem

I think Marussia need to make a claim here. This is a great chance to slow everyone down to improve the spectacle.

To spice up this a little season, maybe Merc should just ensure Rosberg qualifies in front.
A replay of the 2014 Bahrain grand prix would be much welcome.

I don't think that's a fair statement.
Do you think Max Chilton would dominate in the Merc? Probably win a race or two. But dominate?
Why did Webber not dominate then if it is easy to dominate in a good car?
The complete package dominates and not just one or the other.

end of the day F1 is broke up into to two areas ... the cars and the drivers. Therefore does Horner also then think that if there is one driver who is miles ahead in talent and ability that the FIA should do something to hinder his performance and bring him back to a level were other drivers can compete??
Horner dont half make himslef look like a muppet with the memory span of a goldfish

Renault are saying the reason for their poor performance was that redbull forced them to bring forward some updates that were not ready yet.
Not surprised ad the torro rossos did not have drivability problems
