Liverpool v Manchester United

Predictions?

I'm going for 1-3 to United, third goal coming in the last 5 mins after a nervy second half.

Also if we lose, what are our chances of a top 4 finish?

TKT there is still a lot of points to play for though.

If United play with the tempo shown in the first half v Spurs they have a great chance of getting a result but our midfield will actually exist as opposed to Spurs so that will be a far more interesting battle.

We will press high too and hopefully that forces United to play percentage passes to Fellaini if he plays, skrtel has been exclent as the middle of the 3 cbs and loves the physical battle, that's another duel to watch, we have to be careful on the second ball and Rooney picking it up so Sakho and can need to be alert.

Carrick was mom v Spurs for me he was excellent we need to not give him time to dictate the tempo and find his passing range.

Going to be a good game, both teams to score and a narrow margin should there be a winner.

Sakho is our best defender in my opinion. When he plays we hardly concede. When he doesn't we are all over the show.

He is solid and his pass completeition is one of the best in the premiership for a defender.

He looks awkward but he really is not in terms of 50/50's he usually wins. Heading he usually wins and passes usually go to the right players.

Those who say he is not good do not understand football at all and should take up hugging other men i.e. ruggers old chap.

Such a tough game to call IMO.

Draw I think is the most likely result but I would fancy a Liverpool win over a United one.

Considering the current positions and points in the table combined with the fact it's at Anfield I would take a draw if offered right now.

It'll be interesting to see how Utd approach the game really.

Liverpool know what they have to do and that is win at home. The fans know it too and I expect them to be a big help in this game.

Utd? Safety first fun last I suspect. Do they sit on a draw, which wouldn't be a bad result for them, but sometimes it's better to know what you have to do in terms of the mentality in starting and during the game.

It's easier to prepare for I think (for Licerpool) although it could be like being a goal up for United, the pressure will be on Liverpool to attack.

We hate that

yeah not that it would make a huge difference to Liverpool's normal style, probably be much more confusing for you if you could sit back!
