Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has confirmed that soft drinks giant Red Bull has made an approach to buy the beleaguered club.

Presumably any bidder would want to buy out GFH as well? I hope that won't be a stumbling block.

So we eventually get renamed Leeds United Red Bull or Red Bull Leeds United. We'd still be called Leeds United by the masses.
Elland Road will always be Elland Road even if it's sponsored or renamed. If someone pays say £10M naming rights to pretend it's something else fine.
We've played with white blue yellow green black red among others on our shirts in the past it's ultimately not really important.
What matters is that Leeds United will exist and we may get back to where we belong and Leeds United start to rule again.

Maybe this is why the shirt sponsor hasn't been announced? Red Bull?

The club will not be renamed, look at hull.
It's as simple as that really.

I thought in England sponsors weren't allowed to add their name to a clubs name?..
They can do whatever with the stadium, but name?..

I thought that too Germany but see this

I think eventually it will be open season on club names
Sponsor names built into club names by 2030 I predict. So we may as well be first.
Taking their money don't mean I'll ever call them it
