Time to put up or shut up . 1.5m offered for July fight in Manchester against Quigg. No excuse cash-wise but, possibly looking for a home fight again.

Judging by my lack of comments, bowing to those more knowledgable than me of which you ak are not one,i doubt it. Why not fight for 1.5m? unless you are doing an irish jig and singing 'danny boy' what's the prob?

£1.5m is a great offer he's not getting that anywhere else that I can see in the near future! It's the equivalent to Khan being offered £5m for brook

Frampton was on 100k a fight 2 years ago I can't see how much he got for martinez does anyone know?

If Frampton was on 100k a fight 2 years ago against 'dave the plumber' then i can understand why he might be looking for more.
They shouted out and belittled Quigg in the ring after his last fight, not Hearn and now the offer is there it is looking like a bluff called.

How much is Quigg getting?

Hearn added: ‘Scott might not get £1.5m. That is not how this offer is working. This offer is us working together to come up with an offer, that we believe Carl Frampton cannot turn down. If it doesn’t do the pay-per-view buys that we anticipate, Scott might get a third of that (£500,000 to Frampton’s £1.5m). We take the risk. Carl does not have to take any risk.’

If the fight does well, Carl would only get that 1.5m.. Quigg could get even more than that. That's IF the fight sells well on PPV.
Ive no idea why this fight is a PPV though. These 2 boxers are not known amongst the casuals at all. Quigg isnt that big of a star and Frampton is a star but in Ireland. Its just wrong to sell it as a PPV. There's just nothing there for the casual fans to work with. No angle, no storyline really, they dont hate each other, little animosity between them. More animosity between Mcguigan and Hearn.
Hearn is getting desperate though. He promised Sky, PPV's this year and he hasnt got any so far. Not the Brook/Khan, Groves/Degale and now this is his last shot.

Looks like Hearn is getting desperate. I like Frampton, good boxer and personality but Quigg just puts you to sleep. Sky will make it out to be a world title re-unification but in truth Quigg is not even an official world champion. If that goes on PPV I can't see many buyers.

Frampton turned down the offer?
Rigondeaux's man stepping up and offering to accept the fight in UK in June?
MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Frampton doesnt need Quigg, Quigg needs Frampton.
McGuigan is more respected and known in America than Eddie Hearn, McGuigan can take Frampton to America and make a fortune with the Irish/American community who idolise McGuigan.
Thats what Eddie wants.......
