I see, much like how Rooney combines well with strikers like Saha and Welbeck then?
It would be great to see Juve reach the semis or final, been away for too long, great side although as a kid I always had a soft sport for Milan from the Italian clubs, was a big fan of Boban.

Italian league has gone to pot really. Tis a shame.

Italian league isn't what it was but there's still some quality players in the league, Napoli absolutely crushed Wolfsburg last night in the Europa League and they probably won't even qualify for the CL through the league

Things go in cycles though and there's no reason why Italy can't compete with the Spanish league one day. The country economically is stronger and it has more iconic clubs than Spain. Real and the biggest club in the world but Barca's popularity has increased massively in the past 10 years, before that I would say Milan were just as big globally.
If Italy can start churning out some quality home grown players and the 2 Milan clubs can sort themselves out then they could make the league very strong in the not too distant future. Add other clubs like Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, Napoli, Sampdoria, Torino and you got some very iconic clubs who just need some financial lift.
Sad what's happened to Parma, they were like the Italian side everyone liked in the 90s.

Didn't Parmalat go skint in the credit crunch?
It was just money, not a big club at all. They had a lovely team in the mid 90's though.
