Lukas Podolski - The German international came on late for Inter in their game against Roma, and had an immediate impact. Podolski created the 88th winner, his second assist for his loan club. He does, however, remain goalless for the Italians.
Yaya Sanogo came on for the last half hour for Palace. Had an effort blocked by some good defending soon after his arrival. Then looked to have scored a vital equaliser only for the ref to harshly rule the goal out. The second week running Sanogo has been denied by a questionable decision, leaving him still yet to add a Premier League goal to his Champions League and FA Cup efforts.
Chuba Akpom started and played 80 minutes for Nottingham Forest. He has now had 5 starts for Forest without scoring, with his senior career now standing at 10 starts, 15 sub appearances and no goals.
Joel Campbell played the full 90 minutes as Villarreal were held to a 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad. It is now 12 starts without contributing a goal or assist for Villarreal.
With Danny Welbeck hoping for his first PL goal of 2015 against Chelsea and Wellington Silva looking to open his Almeria account against Eibar, our secondary options for the striker role have not had a lot to celebrate in 2015.

Castor T has very good acceleration compared to most inhabitants, definitely faster than DJ I think.

I still dont get the Akpom love and Sanogo hate. Their stats are poor but Sanogos are at least slightly better with a CL and cup goal

Sanogo more crispy, almost an item, shattering immediately upon mastication. Crunchy food continues to provide its material sensation after a few chews, crispy kinda quickly loses the 'taut' equilibrium of its material, such as a tightly wrapped sausage.

So Henry, Judas, Adebarndoor weren't strikers.
Henry could score from 3 yards or 30, great forward AND striker
Judas was a striker and was decent for us. Wenger sold him at the right time.
Ade was a striker and might just about be called decent at his best. No way hes great though.

We should (could?) of sold Henry the season before he left for 50m. I think we should have done that. The season after he got an injury if I recall. The 50m would have strengthened the team. Instead we got a measley 16m.
