Crazy!

No I'm not talking about the queues on the M62, but the decision to increase the family area in the East Stand:

"As part of our plans for next season we are making some changes within the layout of the ground. The East Central Lower sections will be consolidated from three areas to one area, therefore increasing the capacity of the Family Area within the East Stand." - See more at: http://www.leedsunited.com/season-tickets#sthash.c9beX6ou.dpuf

Now I don't know how many season ticket holders currently occupy the 3 areas, but, surely consolidating them in one will leave small availability to non-season ticket holders. I hope there is logic behind the decision and there is enough demand, otherwise it's going to look even emptier than it already does!

Katie Holmes is one of the good ones, it's the structure above that will be the challenge.

Jonty - Katie Holmes issued a letter on 21 Apr, with a deadline to discuss things of the 28 Apr - a whole 5 working days.

What about anyone on holiday? What about those who needed to check stuff?

Her signature block declares she's "Head of Ticketing & Match day Operations" ...... why hasn't she provided fans with far more time to approach this than she has?

She may be one of the good ones - but it's her letter and her job to ensure this stuff is done efficiently. giving the fans less than a week is ridiculous and offers little or no time for discussion.

Actually with the letter dated 21 Apr it's less than 5 working days for fans to respond, if you build in postage time. Quite appalling really.

Do you think these people actually have a say and make decisions, VOF?

As Head of Ticketing yes. For me the clue is in the title.

Lubo - i'll reserve any real criticism of Katie until she's responded - or someone from her department. I'm sure if others are facing similar her inbox will be bursting right now.

VOF, I imagine it's a situation that has been dropped on them and they have standard responses, I doubt it;s her fault that timescales don't suit.

Many people applauded the redundancies last summer as normal business practice, but when you pare staff back and have idiots running the club, the situation you find yourself in now is what you get I'm afraid.

Agreed Jonty - the ones left are having to do the work of many more than they should be.

I thought cutting costs was needed at the time and I still do - however you can't run a business the size of LUFC on a shoestring. Tyhe cuts appear to have been far too deep.

Stoopo and yet the ones who remain get criticised by Cellino for not coming and working on their days off.

Must be horrible environment to work in.

VOF

Don't give up mate.

But this doesn't suprise me at all, he never cared for the fans in Italy.
